Assembly Language Tutorials and Resources
I didn't write these, nor have I checked them all out -- but here's a list of resources to get you started. Most are targeted at the Intel world. Let me know if any of the links need updating.

  • NASM: (Netwide Assembler) A free portable assembler for the Intel 80x86 microprocessor series. Great features, and it has an IDE for DOS which is similar to Borland's Turbo Vision environment. For other OSs there is the Java based NASM Edit, with syntax highlighting, etc...
  • a86 Assembler: A good x86 DOS assembler, but it's shareware (ie. not free.) There's also a debugger availible now, d86.
